Welcome

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Catherine Carlucci and I am beginning my technological journey in my ICT class. I am in my fifth year of the Concurrent Education program in the Intermediate/Senior stream with my teachable subjects in Math and Geography. My passion for this career is to help students see the beauty in Math and break their anxiety with the subject. I am excited to explore technology in helping me do so throughout this course.

This first post is going to highlight some of the main skills I learned in this first class. Being that one of our main projects is a Genius Hour, check out my Word Art below that outlines many of the things I am passionate about. I have chosen a butterfly to represent my mom who has passed away from Cancer. We believe that she is present in all of the butterflies! These words will be used to guide my project.

I have also made a Pinterest page that outlines some of my favourite images to represent who I am. Check it out here to learn more about me! 

Finally, since I am so passionate about mathematics, I decided to incorporate a video into this post that changed my perspective on how to use technology in mathematics learning.
